The notifications stopped notifying - it doesn't turn pink and have a number by it. They are however still updating because when I click on the notification icon there are new ones there.
That's exactly the case for me too! Notification bubble does not notify but when I click there are new notifications. And that started to happen right after the uptadate for the quality check feature.
I haven't had any notifications for several days now, but I didn't think anything of it - just figured maybe there wasn't any activity in the threads I'd been posting in. But I just checked now & that isn't the case. So you can add me to this list.
Thanks for the report. This is due to some code changes, and should be partially fixed now: if you leave a page open for 30 seconds or so, the count should update. I will try to get a full fix implemented soon (so that the count updates on initial page load).
Mine works... IF I leave it on the home page after logging in for 30 FULL seconds... doing the old One Thousand One, One Thousand Two... way of counting.
@Shawna: that is the expected behavior currently. The issue is not fully fixed yet, and the unread count will only refresh after you hang around on a page for 30 seconds. I will be working to fully fix this issue over the next few days.
Sorry... Jordan... I did see that I guess I should have replied to LizAnne's post specifically. I was just letting her know I had to hang out for a bit for it to show up... just in case that's why it didn't seem to be working for her. Thanks for the interim solution. And thanks for all you do for us!
Everything seems to be working fine for me now. I did have some notifications that WOULD NOT go away, but once I clicked 'mark all as read' then everything went back to working perfectly.

I did notice the notifications were working tonight... Hope you have much success in tweaking it just right, Jordan.
