September 2023 Design Challenge Letter Q

Welcome to the September 2023 Design Challenge and the letter Q.

Please make a nano-kit with at least 3 papers and 6 elements (for example: frame, fastener, butterfly, tie, tag, flower,) with below swatch or your own swatch that has at least one color of below swatch.
You can additionally challenge yourself to make the following items

something relating to queens (that can be some word art)
something relating to a question mark
something relating to quietness
a quib
something relating to Queensland (maybe a koala, or the Q1 shape, or a lemon like I did)

The color hex codes are for apps that manage colors like Adobe PSE or Microsoft Office. You can use the templates from the store to make your graphics.

Great post by Robyn Denton
Here is an article with graphic design tips for beginners.
Also here on google drive.

Here are some useful links for you when you are considering joining this challenge.
Pls see this post by Jordan on how to post images

Another idea (maybe I'll play around if I find time): I live in Queens, NY!

Shaindel: That's perfect! smiley

I received this message when I clicked on the
"Here is an article with graphic design tips for beginners" link above.
I am unsure as to what it means?

I've managed to make my first mini-kit!
Do I upload to commons or just link a zip from my GoogleDrive?

So sorry! Yikes, Jenifer, that looks like an official ABF notification. All that's missing is a stamp. Was that your 1st visit to the blog? Just wondering ....what would make my security act as if you were being naughty. Here is the article for you.

smiley YAY! So great, Shaindel! Do share the preview here with us, and you can upload to google and/or the Commons.

Thanks for sharing the link with me, Bina! ❥

I have absolutely no idea what could have caused that.
I had been doing my usual, reading forum posts and
visiting the galleries of others to share some love etc.
I haven't had the amount of time I usually do to wonder around,
so I was a bit hit or miss here since the weekend to boot.

This challenge sounds fun, so I thought that I would take
a look at that link for any tips that I could use.
Then bam... that!
I wasn't banned as it stated of course,
but it sure has left me scratching my head indeed.

I'm gad it worked out now, Jenifer! Something like that is annoying, I agree. I'd also be into finding out what exactly happened then, so if you like, just email me and we catch up from there. smiley

Queens, NY: crown, the Unisphere from Flushing Meadows Park, map of Queens, street card, brick torn paper.

Hope this works! I might try uploading to Commons later today.
This was fun... maybe I'll try my hand at blog trains or other designer challenges.

Edit - someone help with the preview?

@Schaindel: unfortunately I don't think that Google allows linking/embedding directly to images in Google Drive. You can see that the image you embedded does not end in .jpg or .png as a normal image would.

To solve this problem, you can download the image from Google Drive, and upload it to another image hosting platform such as imgur.com, which allows direct embedding.

Sorry for the trouble!

Got it! Thanks, all.

Okies, Bina!
Thank You!

Shaindel, what a super 1st for you!
Congrats on an excellent kit!
