Fieldnotes #1 + Freebie

Naming bundles is my least favorite part of designing digital scrapbooking kits. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that while I will create themed elements for certain bundles, I never personally use anything themed in my own scrapbooking. What is most appealing to me is a good, generic bundle and you can only come up with so many generic titles before you start repeating yourself. So I like to plan to repeat myself and find a good name that can inspire me repeatedly. I had many good years making the Good Life bundles and now I'm excited to be using the new title "Fieldnotes". I feel like there's some depth and ideas I'm excited to explore with this title and looking forward to working with it for the foreseeable future.

Also I hope spring is on it's way to where you are because I made a great spring bundle for January. Sometimes the inspiration can't be stopped.

Beautiful kit! Can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings for Fieldnotes!

When you download the elements 2 it has the same content as the elements 1. I tried going to the direct page to download it but got the same results.

Marisa - I love the name "Fieldnotes"! Not only is a great name but it will work with absolutely every theme as well as none at all. I have to admit I didn't much like the name "Good Life" after the first few years. March 6 will start my fourth year of covid to long covid & each time I saw "good life" I was reminded of how mine had changed - & not for the better (& yes, this was absolutely a ME problem).

About Me

Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!

I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!

I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!

If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.
