Hybrid Spotlight: Countries Visited Travelers Notebook

I know most of you here are digital scrapbookers, so you may or may not be aware of the trend in paper scrapbooking towards Travelers Notebooks. This is a specific size of notebook, each page is 11cm x 21cm (about 4x8 inches). For me the appeal of using these notebooks is first just having a different size canvas to work with. After many years of scrapbooking I'm pretty burned out on the 12x12 size. It will be a long time before I make a paper layout in those dimensions again.

New Today: Birthday Add On

I often do a birthday bundle in June because it's my birthday month and I like to celebrate all month long. So for this bundle I had myself in mind, and also Magnus, which is how I ended up with the floral T-Rex, now branching out to birthday parties. How did you celebrate the first birthday of your children? Big themed party? Or something smaller. We don't have any family here in California, so I don't imagine we'll have a large party for Magnus, but I am looking forward to giving him some cake!

February 2018 Pocket Pages

Going ahead with my 2018 pocket spreads, here are the ones for February. I shared about my 2017 album how much I liked that it all fit into one book, unlike previous years which needed several books. I also thought with all the baby photos I may not make it into one book again. However, I've been thinking about it and I really like having one book, especially if this is a project I plan on continuing for any length of time, I like the idea of having a year in a book. And really this shouldn't be too hard.

New Today: The Good Life

Today I have a new installment of The Good Life. I've been thinking a bit more about what defines my style as a designer, or what I want my style to be. I love a lot of different styles and looks, so it's hard for me to really settle on specific things. Sometimes my bundles are clean and exact, and sometimes I go in for a distressed look. Although, when I do a lot of distressing or paint or mess, it's with conscious effort, as clean and straight is more my regular lane. I've also decided that for better or worse I love random, cute animals.

Calendar Sneak Peeks: June 2018

I thought it would be fun to start showing sneak peeks of my upcoming bundles for the month by offering monthly calendars at the beginning of the month with a little taste of what's coming. Plus if you download the calendar kit you'll likely get to see the bundle preview which I've stuck in the folder. The calendar will come in a blank version and also with the title of the current month, so this month they're June calendars. They also come in three sizes: 8.5x11 inches, A4 and 5x7 inches. Let me know if there's a different size or orientation that would be useful to you.
