4 Layouts Using the Same Elements

I was sitting around the other day making layouts and I suddenly I was like, I wonder how many layouts I can make with the exact same elements. I had already created one layout with this bunch of elements, and I knew I wanted to use more papers from the kit I had recently purchased. The papers had a lot going on and so I knew the neutral elements I had picked out would continue to work. Papers are from artCrush #51 {Paper Mix} by NBK Designs.

I often reuse the same elements from layout to layout, so it was a natural step for me to push the idea all the way.

Since I'm often looking for the same element on every layout I make, I've been creating my Collage Fave kits to help me find the pieces that I like to use over and over.

It was a fun exercise to try and make things looks different, and also I made these layouts so fast because I wasn't messing around looking for elements. What do you think? Do you think they look different enough to fool people.

I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!

I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!

If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.
