2016 Summer Road Trip: Part 5

Summer Road Trip: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4

Tennessee was the main destination for us on the trip, the impetus for going on the road at all.
Jordan's youngest brother graduated from Union University,
and we wanted to be there to join in the festivities.

▼ Conveniently, my parents also live nearby so we spent a little time with them,
relaxing in their city neighborhood in Memphis.

▼ And visiting my favorite panda.

▼ Apparently my parents liked the looks of the photos I had posted on Instagram,
and decided to join us on the next leg of our trip up to Minnesota.
First stop, St. Loius!

▼ We then followed the Mississippi all the way up to the Twin Cities.
We drove through so many cute towns along the way
and they were all decked out for Memorial Day with flags flying.

▼ Next stop, Minneapolis!

Both Jordan and I have family in Minnesota, so it's always on our list of places to go.
And early summer is a great time to visit!

@Patricia: I guess they're just really tall :)

@Carla: That photo was taken in Blaine, which I think is near Lakeville?

Loving your trip! Where's the bridge pic? Looks like Ritter Farm park in Lakeville to me, but that could be any of the regional parks in MN. Next time your in the hood, holler! Would LOVE to meet you in person! I'll buy you a Caribou!
