'The Curio Pantry' is what I design under. If you are not familiar with my designs they are a bit eclectic, mostly elegant & vintage inspired designs with a little cuteness here and there. I dabble with hand drawing so at times you may see some of that worked into kits.

2 cups All-Purpose Flour
½ cup Sugar
2 teaspoon ginger
¼ teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
⅔ cup Molasses
¼ cup Butter + 2 tablespoons, melted
2 tablespoons applesauce (or butter )
1 ⅓ cup Buttermilk
1 large Egg(s) beaten
Confectioners Sugar optional
Instructions : Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter on medium-low heat. When melted pour off and use excess to grease 10-inch cast-iron skillet, then sprinkle in some flour to prepare the skillet. In medium bowl, whisk first flour, sugar, ginger, cloves and cinnamon. In large bowl, whisk molasses, applesauce, buttermilk and egg. Then add molasses mixture to flour mixture. Pour into skillet. Bake until cake springs back when gently pressed, 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes. Cut into wedges; garnish with confectioners sugar.
