About Me
My name is Jessica but you can call me Jessi or Jess if you prefer!
Wife. Mother. Designer. Keeper of chickens, turkeys & an old house. A few favorite things : Autumn. Winter. Coffee. Old Books & Photos. Fireplaces. Cotton & Linen. Antiques. Ribbons. Nature.
'The Curio Pantry' is what I design under. If you are not familiar with my designs they are a bit eclectic, mostly elegant & vintage inspired designs with a little cuteness here and there. I dabble with hand drawing so at times you may see some of that worked into kits.

Journaling : This was a beautiful jam. The process was going along well...but apparently I tend to cook jams too hard. As I suspected it had gone to candy. Well it was tasty all the same! Just very very sticky. November 22, 2019

Jessica, Mum made relishes - tomato relish I remember, chutneys, preserved any fruit she could get - mainly peaches, pears, apricots, made jams, marmalade, ginger beer, bread, & the usual Saturday bake of cake & biscuits. For someone who originally didn't want to get married, & be a homemaker, she did exceptionally well.
Gorgeous layout and a nice memory in the books. I like this kind of Everyday Moment type of scrapbooking. Sometimes the everyday moments slip by unnoticed.
i love persimmon but have never tasted persimmon jam. i'm sure it is tasty
Aww thank you Jill! β₯ I would love to hear of some of things she made! I don't get in there as often as I used to but it's still fun when I can.
Love this, Jessica. I must say you're a very enterprising lady - very like my Mum. She was always in the kitchen making something or other.
