About Me
My name is Jessica but you can call me Jessi or Jess if you prefer!
Wife. Mother. Designer. Keeper of chickens, turkeys & an old house. A few favorite things : Autumn. Winter. Coffee. Old Books & Photos. Fireplaces. Cotton & Linen. Antiques. Ribbons. Nature.
'The Curio Pantry' is what I design under. If you are not familiar with my designs they are a bit eclectic, mostly elegant & vintage inspired designs with a little cuteness here and there. I dabble with hand drawing so at times you may see some of that worked into kits.

Journaling: Went to the ER and was admitted for an emergency procedure then surgery. Diagnosis:
Choledocholithiasis & Acute Pancreatitis | Tuesday the 19th had the ERCP & Wednesday I was scheduled for GB surgery but it was delayed to Thursday due to overflow of gallbladder & trauma surgeries in OR. | Admitted to the Hospital 12-18-23 | Watched the 1st snowfall of the season here. Would rather be home. | Not a morning person | 10am -I am better now. | Hubby worked remotely in between helping me. | I look awful after surgery. Still loopy from anesthesia. | Hubby helping to get us ready to go home. Four days is the longest I have ever spent in a hospital. | The entire staff was amazing. I also really loved the wooden snowflake the kind lady in housekeeping
left me, after I was out of surgery. | I changed the background out on the TV & texted the photo to the kids - they loved it.

Oh dear Jessica,
I can only wish you a speedy recovery. I also spent Christmas in bed, but my own. I hope that your pancreas in particular will heal quickly once the congestion is cleared up. Thanks for sharing with us. Your choice of color matches what's happening: You've been "ice cold" - we say - and your first snow. GOD bless you ♥
Great page to document your emergency procedure. Sorry about the subject matter, though. Hope you’re feeling much better now and enjoying the holidays!
